  • A fairly polarizing individual, on the one hand, may seem like an intimidating individual, but is honestly always lost in thought. When someone shows exceptional or impressive ideals, he becomes enamored and is not shy to speak his mind, either with a gentle repose or snark.

  • Often, Chormagan wanders about aimlessly. On occasion has a penchant for tricking his friends - only to repay them with a bit more out of generosity.

  • When the situation is serious or is held with grave importance, he obediently listens. If it upsets him, there is a near-spilling rage that seems to overfill into a dark aura or a mellow spill. Juxtaposed to that is a somber and grim sadness within him that always lingers

  • Should loss strike him and taken by one's sacrifice or ideals, he reflects in silence before unleashing a flurry of emotion at any injustice.

  • When someone is bold and unwavering, he has a tendency to be taken aback or even become very docile.

  • He is an author for several recently published books and paints the illustrations themselves to help with children and youth struggling from the Seventh Umbral Calamity, The Final Days, displacement from political conflicts and other times of strife.

History

Born in the deserts of Southern Thanalan, his father was part of the Orl Tribe but left and eventually became a samurai of Doma. Years before the events of Carteneau and the end of the Seventh Umbral Era, his parents never knew Chormagan. When he began his journey, fame, glory, and riches did not drive him. All that he had yearned for was a place to call home. It was often that while he grew up, the distrust of both Ala Mhigan and still tempering sights of au ri people had given him odd looks. Yet he had seen the generosity of those willing to help and to accept help in turn. It was where he had felt the most at home to learn not only of the history and tales of Eorzea, but those who had and continue to inspire hope among people. As history went on, he would visit places that have radically changed. In Coerthas, around the tail end of the Dragonsong War, he had learned of the story of Ysayle Dangoulain and the inevitable truth of Shiva and Hraesvelgr. Later on, he would come to realize he was the bastard child of an Elezen, making a pact for the safety of his son from the Holy See’s blind judgment in Coerthas, murdering his entire tribe. His father had assisted his tribe through Othard for safe passage into Aldenard and seek refuge.Through his travels, he eventually came to know that his mother had learned scant bits of Sharlayan Astrology through what remains of the outpost in Dravania and his father’s unfortunate fate through his increased visions of “ghosts”. It filled him with some hope that his mother might have fought in the Battle of Carteneau. It was also during that same moment that he looked out at the blazing skies that spread throughout Eorzea and awoken to his power of the Echo-- One where he could see "the ghosts of the past".He tried to help those who faced injustice within Coerthas, but he would always find it a bittersweet task. The few who call themselves dark knights too had inspired who he had grown to be. As time went by, he developed a conviction that is not only reckless, but a near-unstoppable force to hold upon the ideals of the dead, the broken, and those who had their altruistic or benevolent ideals smothered or hidden. Then, one day he had proven his worth and had assisted during the restoration of The Firmamement. Despite the bannermen of various houses noting him as a suspicious individual sneaking about The Brume, he had gladly assisted the injured and downtrodden, proving himself not as a heretic. It was there that he introduced himself as someone who believed in the innate altruism one can give and the power to find their home. It was then that the Holy See saw the merit in his deeds, but was not endorsed by any high houses. It had not stopped him from forming the Celestial Carnation Caravan, an organization dedicated to meeting not only mass supply and demand trade within the star but also providing any sort of aid to those struggling to live. Under the table, he had done mercenary work as long as it had brought justice to those who needed it.

Roleplay ThemesI love plot driven narratives and those that explore character. I also work around mature themes and content but do so with an UTMOST stress on it being 20+ for my own comfort. After all, the darkness walks hand in hand with the blood carnation. Although, I'm not the type to murder someone's character in cold blood. That's just dumb.I prefer Discord/Google Doc Roleplays and I tend to write in paragraphs and with quotation marks. Whenever I'm OOC, I usually communicate with a // or so to indicate that.I stick mainly to the canon but slightly go off. I don't mind lighter roleplay, but much prefer heavier plot-driven ones.I am not keen on random ERP. I like story and chemistry to develop than simply mindless smut.Any preferences meant for rather should be discussed beforehand and with GREAT care and trust. I'm open to the idea of these themes but it doesn't mean I'm entirely focused on that mindset in the open world. I would probably just play my character in general and sometimes just break character to have fun with the world.ShippingIt's mainly fair game as long as there is chemistry and with a great deal of plot and storyline. He mainly has an attraction towards men.Updates and Additional infoDiscord friend requests are to be determined.
